Are my files uploaded? Most tools process files locally in your browser and are not uploaded. The only exceptions are PDF to Word, Word to PDF and PPTX to PDF, which are sent to the UMARIX server for conversion only and are deleted automatically as soon as the download finishes.

Do I need an account? No. There is no signup.

Is there a watermark? No.

Why are PDF to Word, Word to PDF and PPTX to PDF done on a server? Because they cannot be done reliably in a browser alone. They need a server conversion engine, which runs on the server, with a 30 MB limit and automatic deletion.
